Kaila

Terms of Service

Effective date: October 18, 2026

These terms govern your use of Kaila, an appointment-booking service operated by Nostos, LLC ("Kaila," "we," "us"). By booking an appointment through Kaila or using a Kaila business account, you agree to them.

What Kaila is

Kaila is a booking platform. Your appointment is with the business you book — the business provides the services, sets its prices, and manages its schedule. Kaila provides the booking tools and sends the appointment texts from Kaila's own number.

The text-message (SMS) program

  • When you enter your mobile number to book online, or tell a business in person or by phone that you agree, Kaila sends you texts about your appointments with that business: a verification code (some businesses require one to confirm a new number before an online booking is completed), confirmations, reminders, and notices when an appointment changes, is cancelled or is missed. When a business turns them on, Kaila also texts that a booking request was received, accepted or declined, or that a time you asked about has opened up. No marketing.
  • Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.
  • Reply HELP for help, or write to support@hikaila.com. Reply STOP to any text to stop. STOP stops texts from every business on Kaila.
  • Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Kaila sends notifications on a commercially reasonable schedule but cannot guarantee delivery — your appointment stands whether or not a reminder arrives.

Business-account texts. Kaila texts owners, managers and staff at their own number: codes to sign up, sign in, confirm a new sign-in number or confirm a sensitive change such as a new payment method; one notice to the old number when a sign-in number is changed; and notices about the account, such as a problem with a payment to Kaila. When staff invites are turned on, a new staff member gets one sign-in code and a link to the app. These come from a separate Kaila number. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out, START to allow them again. STOP on that number does not affect booking texts.

If you run a business on Kaila. Turn on "Customer agrees to texts" only after the customer says yes. Do not add a phone number the customer did not give you. When staff invites are turned on, add a staff member's mobile number only if they gave it to you for this.

Acceptable use

Use Kaila only to make and manage genuine appointments. Do not misuse the service — including making fraudulent bookings, probing or disrupting the platform, or entering another person's phone number without their permission.

Accounts and accuracy

Businesses are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, schedules, and prices, and for honoring the appointments booked with them. Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the contact details they provide.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Kaila is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nostos, LLC is not liable for the services a business provides or fails to provide, and our total liability arising out of the use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us (if anything) in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

If these terms change, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
